4.4 INSTALLING INK CASSETTES

•
When handling ink cassettes, be careful that ink does not get in your eyes or on your skin.
However, if this happens, flush imfabrictely with water. Otherwise, your eyes may become
congested or inflamed slightly. If you feel discomfort, consult a doctor imfabrictely.
•
Do not disassemble ink cassettes. Otherwise, ink may get in your eyes or on your skin.
•
Do not shake ink cassettes strongly. Otherwise, ink may leak.
•
The unit is delivered / shipped with special shipping liquid to prevent air coming into the ink supply
system. Make sure that air never enters the ink supply system.
•
Before powering ON the unit for the first time, make sure to:
o Remove the dummy cassettes
o Remove the waste tube clamps
o Remove the bag enclosing the waste tubes
o Connect the waste tubes
o Unlock the head station. Refer to: Unlock the head
