5.3.9 Change wipers

When to perform?
The wipers must be changed every 6 months.
According to the periodical service of the Viper TX printer, wipers should be replaced every 6 months. The
periodical services ensure a stable printout quality of the machine.
•
Do not touch the cleaning wiper or the head cap unit with your hands while cleaning the
cleaning wiper. Doing so may result in poor head cleaning because of oil on your hands.
•
Wear protective gloves.
•
Do not move the position of the wiper arm (forwards / backwards) to prevent error generating
when head returns to the cap position.

To replace the wipers, please follow the instructions mentioned below.
Step 1 :
Remove the old wiper from the wiper arm as shown in the image below.
Step 2 :
Click the new wipers in the wiper arm in the manner shown in the image below.
