When parameter read or write or CC-Link IE Field Network diagnostics fails
When parameter reading or writing or CC-Link IE Field Network diagnostics fail in the engineering tool, check the following
items.
Check item
Is the D LINK LED of the multiple input module turned on?
Is the version of the module operating as the master station supported?
Is the version of the engineering tool supported?
Do the setting of the network parameter and that of the CPU module match?
Even after checking the above items, LEDs of the module, CC-Link IE Field
Network diagnostics using the engineering tool, and error code, the online
function cannot be executed using the engineering tool properly.
Has the thermocouple input been
affected by noise?
Has there been a disturbance which
results in a sudden temperature
change in the vicinity of the multiple
input module? (Does the wind or the
like hit the multiple input module?)
Has the resistance temperature
detector input been affected by
noise?
Is the wiring resistance value too
large or are the wiring lengths kept
the same?
Action
Take measures to reduce noise, such as using a shield wire for connection.
Always use shielded compensation lead wires for the connection and ground
the shield wire of the compensation lead wire for each channel.
Check the influence from adjacent devices and take measures to reduce
noise.
Eliminate any disturbances which cause instability or non-uniformity in the
temperature of the analog input terminal block because temperature
measurement is carried out based on the temperature of the analog input
terminal block.
Always use shielded cables for the connection and ground the shield wire for
each channel.
Check the influence from adjacent devices and take measures to reduce
noise.
As the resistance value for each wiring increases, it causes errors in accuracy.
Shorten the wiring lengths so that the wiring resistance value decreases, for
example by installing the multiple input module close to the temperature
measured object.

Action
Check the D LINK LED of the multiple input module. If the D LINK LED is not
on, refer to the following to perform troubleshooting.

Refer to the following to check other LEDs.

Check the serial number (first five digits) of the module operating as the
master station, and if it is prior to the supported versions, replace the module
with a module of the supported version. For the supported version, refer to the
following.

Check the version of the engineering tool, and if it is prior to the supported
versions, update it. For the supported version, refer to the following.
Page 28 Applicable software package
Perform PLC verification on the network parameter to check those settings. If
they do not match, execute writing and reading to match the settings of the
network parameters to those of the CPU module, then write the module
parameters of the slave station.
The module may be in failure. Please consult your local Mitsubishi
representative.
