1 – pull the cover.
2 – turn the cover through circa 180°.
3 – move the cover until you feel it is fixed.
2.3.6.7.1.4 Open the alpha detector window (Figure 2.21).
2.3.6.7.1.5 Place the probe so that the window of its alpha detector was in
parallel to and at a minimum distance from the surface to be examined. You can use
the twist limiter in order to maintain a stable distance between the probe and the
examined surface.
