2.3.6.6.1.5 To measure beta radiation characteristics, open the beta detector
window and place BG probe so that the window of its beta detector was in parallel
and at a minimum distance to the surface to be examined.
1 – ease the nut that fixes the beta detector shutter.
2 – open the beta detector window.
3 – fix the beta detector shutter open.
