CAUTION
Risk of damage to equipment from software
An incompatible software load can damage an FP beyond
a field repair. Ensure that the software running on the
switch meets the minimum software requirement for a
replacement FP. For information on minimum software

• You must first decommission the slot of the existing FP before installing
the replacement.
