Installing the Detector

The detector requires connections to electrical power and to sample and waste
lines to operate in any standard laboratory environment. This chapter describes
how to install the detector, and connect it to the electrical supplies and to other
equipment in an HPLC system.

2.1 Before you begin

Requirement:
general, to set up and operate laboratory instruments and computer-controlled
devices and also how to handle solvents.

the required components are present.

2.2 Unpacking and inspecting

Unpack the contents of the shipping carton. As you unpack the carton, check

Check the contents of the startup kit.
3.
Save the shipping carton for future transport or shipment.
