If the seat backrest is not engaged and locked,
this will be shown on the multifunction display
on the instrument cluster.
If the child restraint system is equipped
with a Top Tether belt:
The risk of injury can be reduced by Top
Tether. The Top Tether belt facilitates an
additional connection between the child
restraint system attached with ISOFIX or
i‑Size and the vehicle.
If necessary, move head restraint

upwards ( page 113).

Fit the ISOFIX or i-Size child restraint system

with Top Tether. Always comply with the child
restraint system manufacturer's installation
instructions when doing so.
