If you shift down on slippery road surfaces to
increase the engine braking effect, the drive
wheels may lose traction.

Permanent setting (vehicles with Off-road
package)
Activating/deactivating:pull rocker switch

If indicator lamp is lit, manual gearshifting is
activated. The current gear is displayed in the
multifunction display.
Temporary setting
To activate: pull steering wheel gearshift

paddle 1 or 2.
Manual gearshifting is activated for a short
time. The current gear is displayed in the
multifunction display.
To deactivate: pull steering wheel gearshift
#
paddle 2 and hold it in place.
The transmission position h appears in the
multifunction display.
