To open: pull lever 1 to release the engine

bonnet.
Push bonnet catch 1 upwards and lift the
#
bonnet by approximately 40 cm.
To close: lower the bonnet and let it fall from
#
a height of approximately 20 cm.
If the bonnet can still be lifted slightly, open
#
the bonnet again and close it with a little
more force until it engages correctly.

Engine oil
Read off the engine oil level on the instru‐
ment cluster
The engine oil level is determined during driving.
Determining the engine oil level can take up to
30 minutes with a normal driving style and even
longer with an active driving style.
In order to receive a result as quickly as possi‐
ble:
warm up the engine

park the vehicle on a level surface
R
leave the engine running at idling speed
R

One of the following messages appears:
Engine oil level Measuring
#
oil level has not been determined or no value
has been saved as e.g., the bonnet has been
opened. Repeat the request after a maximum
of 30 minutes' driving.
