The steering wheel will move upwards only if
it is not already as high as it will go. The driv‐
er's seat will move backwards only if it is not
already in the rearmost position.
The driver's seat backrest will move for‐
wards only if it is not already in the front‐
most position.
The steering wheel and the driver's seat will
move back to the last drive position in the fol‐
lowing cases:
you switch the power supply or the ignition
R
on when the driver's door is closed
you close the driver's door when the ignition
R
is switched on
The last drive position is stored in the following
situations:
you switch the ignition off
R
you save the seat setting using the memory
R
function
If you press one of the memory function position
buttons, the adjustment process is stopped.

When the memory function adjusts the seat,
you and other vehicle occupants – particu‐
larly children – could become trapped.
During the adjustment process of the

memory function, make sure that no
one has any body parts in the sweep of
the seat.
If someone becomes trapped, press a

memory position switch or seat adjust‐
ment switch immediately.
