"Enable" Function in static Unit
The "Enable" function can work in several ways
•
from Digital input
•
from Serial Port
•
from Digital Input + Serial Port
•
from FieldBus
•
from Digital Input + FieldBus
To simplify in the various diagrams, the "enable" command from serial port will be represented by a "Software
contact" abbreviated as Sw
13.1 Using Digital Input only
By setting the Digital Input as "Enable" it is possible to control the enable from Digital Input.
By closing the digital input via Sw
will be disabled.
The status can be read on bit 2 of parameter 14 on the serial port.
If bit 2 = 1: Enabled
If bit 2 = 0: Disabled
