8 Maintenance and repair
CAUTION
Wear and tear of the padding on the product
Risk of injury due to unallowable continued use, loss of functionality
► Frequent use can result in wearing of the padding surfaces. Have the product replaced immediately in case of
damage.
• The function of the product should be checked before each use.
Check the product monthly for wear and damage.

Check screw connections monthly for tightness.
•
• Especially during the initial period of use or after making adjustments, screw connections must be checked for
tightness more often. If a screw connection loosens repeatedly, contact the qualified personnel promptly.
• The user is not permitted to make repairs to the product.
• Have damaged or worn parts replaced by qualified personnel as soon as possible.
• Servicing and repairs may only be carried out by qualified personnel or the manufacturer. This will ensure that
only Ottobock spare parts are used for repairs.
9 Disposal
9.1 Disposal information
Return the product to the qualified personnel for disposal.
All components of the product must be disposed of properly in accordance with the respective national environ­
mental regulations.
9.2 Information on re-use
The product is not intended for re-use.
