Communication Protocol

The Leddar T16 Sensor uses LeddarTech's proprietary communication protocol (TCP/IP socket-based
protocol), called Ipv4.
Refer to the Communication Protocol User Guide provided by LeddarTech for more information about the
sensor communication protocol.

• Verify that the T16 Sensor is connected.
• Verify that the T16 Sensor is connected to an appropriate PoE+ port.
• Verify that your computer is configured with a static IP address.
• Verify that the cable is properly secured in the Ethernet port.
• If the cabling connection seems secure, verify that the Ethernet link
between the control computer and the sensor is valid using the ping
command.
• Verify the power supply of the sensor.
• Verify that the sensor is detected by the network board.
• Use the appropriate Ethernet connection mode and addressing
depending on the network architecture.
• Disconnect from Leddar Configuration, then reconnect.
• Power cycle the sensor.
Verify if the LEDs on the Ethernet port are blinking.
• Verify the setting on the network board. The IP setting should be as
shown in Appendix A.
• Verify if the Ethernet cable is properly connected.
• Verify that your computer is configured with a static IP address.
• Verify that the cable is properly secured in the Ethernet port.
• If the cabling connection seems secure, verify that the Ethernet link
between the control computer and the sensor is valid using the ping
command.
