Parameter
That is why a saturation compensation algorithm is executed
when saturated pulses are detected.
When selected, this parameter can further increase accuracy by
Echoes crosstalk
removing secondary echoes that might still be present in adjacent
removal
segments after applying the first stage of crosstalk removal.
The signal processing algorithm also embeds an advanced
temperature compensation scheme which attenuates the distance
Temperature com-
measurement drift over large and sudden sensor temperature
pensation
changes. The temperature compensation also ensures optimal
accuracy over the full operating temperature range.
Static threshold is a default amplitude value (based on distance)
Static threshold
under which detections are discarded to remove noise. This
activation
parameter can be deactivated to gain more sensitivity.
This parameter is used to add a constant offset to static threshold
Threshold offset
to either discard undesired detections (higher value) or achieve
detections that would otherwise be discarded (lower value).

Network Settings
To access this function, click Device > Configuration > Network.
This window allows you to view and modify the IP configuration and communication protocol configuration.
The network configuration applies after a system reboot.

Table 22: Network Settings

The IP address assigned to the sensor.
Defines and identifies the local network within which DHCP addresses will be
assigned to sensors.
By default, this is the same as the Server Address. However, a distinct gateway
address is required if you need to access another subnet, i.e., one or more
sensors that are not on the local network.
