2. The transport lock has been successfully released (Figure 2–4).
When relocating the instrument, refer to "Refitting the transport
lock" on page 30.
To connect the power supply cable:
Warning Ensure that the mains switch (Figure 2–4) on the front panel
is in the OFF position. Never operate your instrument from a power
outlet that has no ground connection. Never use a power supply cable
other than the Thermo Scientific power supply cable designed for your
region.

1. Connect the power supply cable to the power supply connector and
plug in the instrument (Figure 3–11).
2. Connect the power supply to a correctly installed line power outlet
with a grounded conductor.
