Mounting in clinker facades
For mounting the installation boxes in clinker facades, perform the following points:
Fig. 12:
Mounting installation boxes in clinker facades
1. Chisel a hole according to the size of the outdoor station used into the facade provided.
–
The suitable template is enclosed with the flush-mounted installation box.
–
Dimensional drawings, see chapter 5.9.4 "Installation boxes - flush-mounted installation"
on page 59.
–
The installation depth of the flush-mounted installation box is 46 mm.
2. Insert the flush-mounted installation box.
–
Attention:
Ensure that the encircling "Collar" of the flush-mounted installation box rests on the
facade. The encircling "Collar" of the flush-mounted installation box must not be
submerged in the facade. The device can then not be mounted later.
–
Fix the flush-mounted installation box into the cut-out of the facade with the aid of the
elongated holes.
–
The hollow spaces between the flush-mounted installation box and the clinkers can be
filled with PU foam.
–
For this, break out the holes in the corners of the box angled at 45°.
–
Insert the extension tube of the PU foam and fill the cavities.
–
Use a low-expansion foam to prevent foam from penetrating the flush-mounted box.
If necessary, use foam cleanser to remove the contaminations.
–
No additional accessories are necessary for mounting.
3. Mounting the outdoor station.
–
see chapter 5.3 "Outdoor stations" on page 39.
