Boom and Terminology

The DELTA FORCE boom (DDZ) is a pendulum suspended, fully hydraulic operated Z-version with all functions controlled via
the Direct Hydraulic System (D.H.).
The boom is suspended in a strong, stable parallelogram boom lift. It is available in working widths of 32, 33 and 36 m. The
boom is 3-folded.
Boom features
• Hydraulic pendulum lock.
• Outer sections incorporate spring-loaded breakaway.
• Individual boom tilt control.
• Individual folding of right outer section. This enables alternative boom widths.
• The boom can be used in 1/2-folded and 2/3-folded widths:

For 3-folded booms, the terminology is as follows:
A. Centre section
B. Inner section
C. Middle section
D. Outer section
E. Breakaway section
