Periodic inspections of the trailer
TIGHTENING ROAD WHEELS
The wheel nuts should be tightened grad-
ually diagonally (in several stages until the
required tightening torque is achieved),
using a torque wrench. The recommended
order for tightening the nuts and the tight-
ening torque is shown in the fi gure Tight-
ening of the wheel principle.
Wheel nuts must not be tightened with
impact wrenches, due to the danger of ex-
ceeding the permissible tightening torque,
which may result in breaking the con-
nection thread or breaking the hub pin.
The wheels should be tightened according
to the following scheme:
• after fi rst use of the trailer (one-time
inspection),
• every 2-3 hours of driving during the

If the wheel was disassembled, the above
steps should be repeated.
