In case of 166 mm (6.5") ribbon width, com-
press the bobbin and move it so it snaps into the
6:th (outermost) groove.

Without releasing the ribbon, turn the printhead
lift knob to "Closed" position to lock the ribbon.

Press the ribbon roll onto the ribbon supply spool
(1) and thread the ribbon through the print unit.
Pull out approx. 20 cm (8) of ribbon (2).

Press the cardboard core at the front end of the
ribbon onto the take-up spool. Both spools
should rotate counter-clockwise.
