3) Pull the support over the hand, taking into account the opening provided
for the thumb (see fig. 2).
4) The elastic strap can be used for additional stabilization if required (see
fig. 4).
5) When providing the support to the patient, the proper fit and positioning
of the support must be verified.
4.3 Cleaning
Clean the support regularly.
1) Remove the plastic splint.
2) Recommendation: use a laundry bag or net.
3) Wash the support at 86 °F in warm water with standard mild detergent.
Do not use fabric softener. Rinse thoroughly.
4) Allow to air dry. Do not expose to direct heat (e.g. from the sun, an oven,
or a radiator).
5 Disposal
Dispose of the product in accordance with national regulations.

6.1 Liability
The manufacturer's warranty applies only if the device has been used under
the conditions and for the purposes described. The manufacturer recom­
mends that the device be used and maintained according to the instructions
for use.
6.2 CE Conformity
This device meets the requirements of the 93/42/EEC guidelines for medical
devices. This product has been classified as a class I device according to
the classification criteria outlined in appendix IX of the directive. The manu­
facturer therefore drew up the declaration of conformity under its own
responsibility according to annex VII of the directive.
