5.27 Compressor Motor Lock

Error Code
Method of Error Outdoor unit PCB takes the position signal from UVW line connected between the inverter and
Detection compressor, and the error is detected when any abnormality is observed in the phase-current
waveform.
Error Decision
When the compressor motor does not operate even by starting it in forced startup mode.
Conditions
Supposed  Compressor lock
Causes  High differential pressure (0.5 MPa or more)
 UVW connection error
 Defective inverter circuit
 The stop valve is not opened.
Troubleshooting
Part 6 Service Diagnosis
Be sure to turn off the power switch before connecting or disconnecting
Caution connectors, or parts may be damaged.
