7.2 Accessory & Cleaning Set
7.2.1

Cleaning of Instrument Optic

The standard delivery comprises an accessory & cleaning set. This set is used to clean the lenses of
the instrument, if necessary.
NOTICE
Perform cleaning only if requested by a message on the display of the instrument or if
the calibration on the white calibration standard fails several times. Details see
Calibration
before starting the cleaning procedure.
The set includes following parts.
1 Plate key (301500236)
2 Soft brush (100902512)
3 Flashlight (100902511)
4 Battery for flashlight, type AAA
5 Cleaning tissue holder (301500299)
Perform carefully following steps to clean the lenses:
1. Take off aperture plate with plate key (1) and clean the shutter.
2. Open Configuration > Calibration menu and select Open shutter.
3. Loosen dust particles from lenses with soft brush (2).
4. Blow dust away with compressed air applying low pressure.
5. Check cleanliness of lenses with flashlight (3), if clean select Close shutter.
