Grayness Measurement
The color2view Pro and color2view Pro X provides additional indices for the measurement of gray
colors. The same standardized calculations are used as for jetness, but lighter tones than jet black
can also be measured. Go to Configuration > Measurement Parameters > Jetness indices.
For grayness measurement following indices are available:

Gy: Indicates the gray value of a sample.
·
Gc: Indicates the hue-dependent gray value of a sample.
·
dG: Indicates the hue of a gray color.
Place instrument on gray sample and measure it, see for example
The measurement of gray samples takes place in the normal color measurement mode.
NOTICE
To measure gray samples deactivate the jetness indices My, Mc, dM and just activate
the grayness indices Gy, Gc, dG, see
