ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS

Warning
Carry out the electrical connections after having completed all the hydraulic connections.
Warning
If series Talia Green System Ultra, Urbia Green Ultra, Mira C Green Ultra, Niagara C Green Ultra or Serelia Green Ultra boilers are
used, it is necessary to install the BUS decoupling board supplied with the product, by strictly observing the instructions con-
tained in the kit. Failing to install the board, or its faulty installation, will cause the boiler to stop working and display error 804.
If this error appears, it is necessary to shut off the power supply to the boiler and check whether the board has been installed
correctly, in order to reset the error and start the system.
Connect the bus cable fi tted with the orange connector to the corresponding connection on the boiler board, as shown in the picture.
If necessary, extend the cable supplied.
- Generic auxiliary generator: connect the contact that activates heating of the auxiliary generator to one of the outputs (AUX1 or AUX
2) on the terminal block of the instrument panel.
If the AUX 1 output is used, confi gure parameter 916 by setting it to "external heat request".
If the AUX 2 output is used, confi gure parameter 917 by setting it to "external heat request".
Moreover, a RS485-type connection must be made between the HYBRID MODULE and the external unit. This connection can be made
using a shielded cable with a small cross-section (0.25 mm
in the vicinity of a power connection.
Electric circuit
• Check that the mains power supply voltage and frequency are in line with the data indicated on the system data plate ("Technical
Data" table).
• For greater safety, ask a qualifi ed technician to perform a thorough check of the electrical system.
• You are advised to check for the presence of surge protection devices (SPDs) in the power supply line, and the presence of safety
switches and diff erential circuit breakers in the electrical panel output that supplies the internal and external units.
• The power supply connection is type Y and replacing the connection cable should only be performed by an authorised service
centre, in order to avoid any damages.
• Check that the installation is adequate to support the power consumption of the installed units, as indicated on the product data
plate.
• The electrical connections must made with the help of a fi xed support (do not use portable socket-outlets) and fi tted with a bipolar
switch, with a distance between contacts of at least 3 mm.
• It is essential that you connect the system to an electrical system with grounding which will ensure the safety of the installation.
It is also prohibited to use the hydraulic and heating system connection pipes for grounding of the system.
• The manufacturer is not liable for any damage caused by a system with improper grounding or electrical system anomalies.
• Connect the power supply cable to a 230V - 50Hz network, checking for LN polarity compliance and grounding.
The cross-section of the cables used must be in accordance with the system power (see data plate).
The system is not protected against lightning. In the event that you need to change the fuses, using fast-acting fuses.
Warning: Prior to accessing the terminals, all the supply circuits must be disconnected.
