Control Panel
The control panels are connected to the serverboards through the midplane. The
LEDs on the control panels are associated with the node on the same side of
the chassis. Note that only the left-side control panel includes a power button.
Depressing this button will turn both nodes on or based on BIOS setting.
See Chapter 3 for details on the LEDs and the control panel buttons.

Removing the Power Cord

Before performing any setup or maintenance on the chassis, use the following
procedure to ensure that power has been disconnected from the system.
1. Use the operating system to power down the system, following the on-screen
prompts.
2. After the system has completely shut-down, carefully grasp the head of the
power cord and gently pull it out of the back of the power supply. If your
system has redundant power supplies, remove the cords from both power
supplies.
3. Disconnect the cord from the power strip or wall outlet.
