Installing the Midplane

Installing the Midplane Into the Chassis
1. Power down the system as described in Section 6-3 and open the chassis
covers as described in Sections 6-4 and 6-5.
2. Put the midplane into the midplane bracket, aligning the holes in the midplane
with those in the bracket.
3. Reinstall the fourteen screws securing the midplane to the midplane bracket.
4. Reconnect the cabling to the midplane.
5. Place the midplane and midplane bracket into the chassis and secure them
with four screws in the sidewalls and two at the base of the chassis.
6. Plug the power cords into the rear of the power supplies and power up the
system.
