8-5 Insulation status indicator
8-5-1 Reference value for insulation status, Pass/ Fail, judgement
The instrument can compare the measured insulation value and the pre-set
reference value listed below. LCD backlight lights up and buzzer sounds
according to the result. This function can be turned off.
With KEW 3552/ 3552BT, you can select any desired value as a reference
value; the reference values are fixed and unchangeable on KEW 3551 .

These reference values are determined based on the resistance value to
provide 1 mA with the rated voltage. The color of LCD backlight indicates the
result as follows.
