Configuring safety mode

Deactivation of active Safety Mode

The settings for safety mode are configured in this menu.
1.
Open the Home window.
2.
Touch the Settings  Basic settings  Safety mode tile.
The Safety Mode parameters submenu opens.
Available settings in the Safety Mode parameters submenu:
[Safety mode function]
Slide switch set to [No]: Safety Mode is not available, the tile is
disabled. Manual activation of Safety Mode is blocked as well as
activation by alarms and interfaces.
Slide switch set to [Yes]: Safety Mode is on standby. The
Safety Mode tile is active.
[Set point]
Slide switch set to [Unchanged]: The set point defined before
Safety Mode was activated is retained and the device continues
operating with this value.
Slide switch set to [Change]: When Safety Mode is activated, the
device continues operating with the new temperature set point Tset.
This value is stored in the Safety Mode parameters.
[Set point]
The temperature set point Tset is entered here. This value is stored
in the Safety Mode parameters and selected when Safety Mode is
activated.
[Control variable]
Slide switch set to [Unchanged]: The control variable selected prior
to activation of Safety Mode is retained.
Slide switch set to [Internal]: When Safety Mode is activated, the
control variable is changed to Internal.
[Ethernet timeout] (control station)
Enter the time for monitoring the control station here in seconds
(timeout 1 to 60 seconds, 0 = off).
If Safety Mode is active, the operator can deactivate Safety Mode using the
remote control.
Deactivating Safety Mode via an interface is not possible.
If an alarm has triggered Safety Mode, the alarm on the con-
stant temperature equipment must be reset first. Only then can
Safety Mode be deactivated.
