Transmission Oil, Change

The oil can be drained by removing the drain plug on
the reverse gear or by the using the manual oil drain
pump.
1 Remove the dipstick. Connect a hose from the oil
scavenging pump to the dipstick tube.
2 Set the knob under the pump housing in position for
pumping the reverse gear.
3 Suck the oil up and put the dipstick back.
4 Fill with oil through the filler opening on top of the
reverse gear. Please refer to Technical
Data, page 73 for oil grade and capacity.
IMPORTANT!
Never over-fill the reverse gear.
5 Start the engine and run until the reverse gear has
reached operating temperature.
6 Check the oil level with the engine at low idling
speed and the controls in neutral position. The oil
level must reach to the upper mark on the dipstick.
Top up oil if needed.
