    Cooling System Drive Belt, Replace The engine has a belt that drives the alternator and the coolant pump. Belt replacement D1-13/20 — 30/D2-40 • Undo the bolts (A) and (C). • Move the alternator toward the engine by screwing in bolt (B) and free the belt.
  • Page 58 Tighten the alternator belt until a play of about 3–4 mm is achieved. Tighten the bolts. P0030932 Belt tensioning, D1 and D2 engines (all) Check the drive belt after operation, when the belt is hot. It should be possible to depress the drive belt about 3-4 mm between the pulleys.
