Engine Shutdown

Allow the engine to run at low idle, in neutral, for a few minutes after operations are completed. In this way after-
boiling is avoided at the same time as temperature equalization takes place. This is especially important when
the engine has been run at high rpm or under heavy load.

Stop the Engine

IMPORTANT!
Never disconnect the current with the main switches
when the engine is running. The alternator and
electronics could be damaged.
1 Disengage the reverse gear by moving the lever to
neutral position.
2 Turn the key to stop position "S".
3 Hold the key in position until the engine has
stopped, the key will return to "0" automatically
when released and can then be removed.

Auxiliary stop

If a fault occurs that prevents the engine being stopped
by the normal method, it can be stopped manually.
WARNING!
Working with or approaching a running engine is a
safety risk. Watch out for rotating components and hot
surfaces.
1 Move the speed adjustment lever (1) to low idle.
2 Move the shut-off lever (2) in the direction of the
arrow until the engine comes to a stop. The warning
display lamps for "No charge voltage" and "Low oil
pressure" will turn on when the engine stops.
3 Turn the key to position "0". The warning display
lamps will turn off.
Don't turn off the engine when under full load.
Subsequently allow the engine to idle for approx. 2
min.
