Deactivate Call Filtering as an Executive

• If your administrator only enables the feature key synchronization (FKS) on your extension:
Deactivate Call Filtering as an Executive
When call filtering is off, none of your incoming calls go to your assistants.
Dial the service activation code provided by your administrator, or follow the procedure described below to
deactivate call filtering.
Before you begin
Your administrator gives you executive user privileges.
Procedure
Step 1
Do one of the following actions:
• If your administrator has programmed the Executive function on a line key, the phone shows the
• If you do not have the Executive function that is configured on a line key:

Follow the below procedure according to the actual menus displayed on the phone.
• If your administrator configures your extension to connect to the XSI BroadWorks server:

• Internal Calls—If you and the callers are in the same BroadSoft group, their incoming
calls go to your assistants.
• External Calls—If you and the callers are not in the same BroadSoft group, their incoming
calls go to your assistants.
d. Press Set to apply the changes.
a. Press the On softkey to activate call filtering.
b. Press
to exit.
Executive
together with the call filtering status (On or Off) on the main screen. Press the line key.

b. Select Executive

a. Select Call filter > Call filter

to select Off.
c. Press Set to apply the changes.
