Unbalanced signals (also called "single ended" signals) also have 2 wires, the signal wire and the
ground wire. Because the channels on the analog interface card are isolated in respect to all other
channels and to ground, connecting unbalanced signals is no different than the balanced connection
type.

When dealing with an unbalanced signal we advise only to use the best quality of shielded cable that is
kept as short as possible.
