12. INTERFACE CARD SPECIFICATIONS

To establish a technical correct tap on the various types of communication links the installer must have
some basic information about the interface cards deployed inside the APRESA recorder.
Common characteristics for all interface cards:
• All cards are basically PC- PCIe expansion cards;
• All PCI are V2.2, 133 MB/sec, PNP (plug and play) Compatible with 3V3 and 5V PCI bus;
• All PCIe X1 that will fit also into X4/X8/X16x32 PCIe-slots;
• NO jumpers;
• All line interfaces are based on "PASSIVE TAPPING";
• On-board DSP(s) for effective VOICE compression;
• No line termination possible.
