Implausible measured
values
Switch the monitor off if an error symbol appears. Check for
all possible causes and note the 10 golden rules as well as the
instructions for self-measurement from Chapter 2 Important
information. Relax for at least 1 minute and then take the meas-
urement again.
Possible causes
The batteries are almost exhausted.
Implausible measured values often occur due to
inappropriate handling of the monitor or mistakes
during the measuring procedure.
Remedy
Replace batteries.
Please observe the 10 golden rules of blood pres-
sure measurement (see Chapter 5 'Measuring your
blood pressure') as well as the safety information.
Then repeat the measurement.
