Conversely, when the actual dO2 value drops below the setpoint, the cascade
system acts to bring it back up.
• 4 Gas controls dissolved oxygen by automatically adjusting the feed of all
gases introduced to the culture. (This is not available without the Gas Mix
Controller.)
• Demand controls dissolved oxygen by automatically adjusting the feed of
carbon dioxide, nitrogen and oxygen. (This is not available without the Gas
Mix Controller.)
• The default setting is Cascade To: None, which means that dissolved oxygen
will be controlled only by the addition of oxygen when the actual dO2 level
drops below setpoint.
To cascade dissolved oxygen to Agitation:
