About this Guide

This guide contains installation, operation, and control procedures, and reference
information for the XTP R HWP 201 Wallplate Receiver. In this guide, the terms
"XTP R HWP 201" and "receiver" are used interchangeably to refer to all models of the
XTP R HWP 201 Wallplate Receiver.

About the XTP R HWP 201

The Extron XTP R HWP 201 is a Decora
that include wall-mounted displays. The HDMI output connector is oriented upward at a
90° angle, which minimizes stress on the cable and allows for a low-profile flat panel display
installation. The receiver accepts XTP signals from up to 330 feet (100 meters) away over
a single shielded twisted pair cable and outputs video, audio, bidirectional RS-232 and IR,
and Ethernet to the display. It also provides HDMI audio de-embedding with analog stereo
audio output and volume control.
