• Make sure that no water can penetrate the device
interior.
12.1.2 Interior cleaning (fig. 15)
1. Open the storage box (9).
2. Remove the screw (34).
3. Loosen the screw (33).
4. Remove the cover (8).
5. Blow out the device interior with low-pressure
compressed air.
6. Attach the cover again (8).
7. Fasten the screw (33).
8. Insert the screw (34) again and tighten it.
9. Close the storage box (9).
12.2 Maintenance
12.2.1 Bearings (fig. 1/item 10)
Lubricate the bearing points (10) of the deflection roll-
ers after approx. 25-30 operating hours at the latest
using high-quality machine grease.
12.2.2 Carbon brushes
If excessive sparks are generated, have an electri-
cian check the carbon brushes.
ATTENTION
The carbon brushes must only be replaced by an
electrician.
12.2.3 Mains cable
If the mains cable is pulled out, cut, or damaged in some
other form, then it should be replaced immediately.
12.2.4 Replacing the fine-wire fuse (Fig. 16)
If the fine-wire fuse (7) is defective, it must be re-
placed with a fine-wire fuse of the same type 5 A/250
V (ø 5 x 20 mm).
WARNING
Do not bypass the fine-wire fuse (7)! Do not use fuses of
any other type! This can lead to damage to the device.
12.3 Service information
With this product, it is necessary to note that the follow-
ing parts are subject to natural or usage-related wear,
or that the following parts are required as consumables.
Wearing parts*: Carbon brushes, saw blade, table inlay
* may not be included in the scope of supply!
12.4 Ordering spare parts

13. Storage

Store the device and its accessories in a dark, dry
and frost-free place that is inaccessible to children.
The optimum storage temperature lies between 5 and
30 ˚C. Store the electric tool in its original packaging.

14. Disposal and recycling

The device is supplied in packaging to avoid trans-
port damages. This packaging is raw material and
can thus be used again or can be reintegrated into
the raw material cycle.
The device and its accessories are made of differ-
ent materials, such as metals and plastics. Take de-
fective components to special waste disposal sites.
Check with your specialist dealer or municipal admin-
istration!
Do not throw old equipment away with house-
hold waste!
This symbol indicates that this product must
not be disposed of in household waste as per
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment di-
rective (2012/19/EU) and national laws. This
product must be handed over at the intended collec-
tion point. This can be done, for example, by returning
it when purchasing a similar product or delivering it to
an authorised collection point for the recycling of old
electrical and electronic devices. Improper handling
of old devices can have negative effects on the envi-
ronment and on human health due to potential haz-
ardous materials which are often contained in old
electrical and electronic devices. By disposing of this
product properly, you are also contributing to the ef-
fective use of natural resources. Information about
collection points for old devices can be found at your
municipal authority, the local disposal provider, an
authorised location for the disposal of old electrical
and electronic devices or your waste collection ser-
vice.
