Engine Break-In Guidelines
The engine break-in period is the first 25 hours of operation or the
riding mileage which used first two full tanks of fuel.
• Avoid full throttle operation.
• Avoid pressing the accelerator pedal past ¾ down.
• Avoid continuous acceleration.
The brake needs a 124mi (200km) break-in period.
New brakes will not operate at their maximum efficiency until the
break-in period is over. Brake performance may be compromised
if not followed.
During this period, avoid full-throttle running, rapid acceleration, and
NOTICE
constant rpm operation.
