Define the slope of the ramp in the case of a lost echo.

• The unit for the slope of the ramp is "percentage of the measuring range per minute" (%/
min).
• For a negative slope of the ramp: The measured value is continuously decreased until it
reaches 0%.
• For a positive slope of the ramp: The measured value is continuosly increased until it
reaches 100%.
 Setup → Advanced setup → Safety sett. → Blocking dist.
Specify upper blocking distance UB.
0 to 200 m
For rod and rope probes up to 8 m (26 ft): 200 mm (8 in)
No echos are evaluated within the blocking distance UB. Therefore, UB can be used to
suppress interference echos within the upper end of the probe.
