"Simulation" submenu

The Simulation submenu is used to simulate specific measuring values or other
conditions. This helps to check the correct configuration of the device and connected
control units.
Conditions which can be simulated
Condition to be simulated
Specific value of a process variable
Specific state of the switch output
Existence of an alarm
Enable/disable simulation
The simulation of measured values can be enabled or disabled via a hardware switch (SIM
switch) at the electronics. Simulating a measured value is only possible if the SIM switch is
in the ON position.
The switch output can always be simulated, irrespective of the position of the SIM switch.
1. Loosen the securing clamp.
2. Unscrew the housing cover.
