Check the muffler for abnormal sound and dif-

ference in sound from a new machine. If it
makes abnormal sound, repair it, referring to
the Troubleshooting Volume.

Check the installed condition of the cylinder head
and air intake manifold and exhaust manifold. If
they are loosened, retighten them.
