Wiring the DC Power Output Ports
IPL EXP I/O Series • Hardware Features and Installation
12 VDC and 24 VDC Power Output
Use these ports to power accessories such as occupancy sensors.
Total maximum output is 19 watts, if a PoE+ power supply is used to
power the IPL EXP RIO8. These ports are always on, unless the total
load reaches the overload condition.
Global Con gurator software provides a way to monitor these ports.
• Normal operation mode —The load drawn by connected devices
is 0 - 17 watts.
• Limit mode —The total load on these ports is between 17 and 19
watts.
• Overload mode — The load has reached or exceeded 19 watts.
All power output ports shut off. Power will be restored after you
correct the excessive power draw from the connected devices.
