Paper feed unit
- Clean paper feed pickup roller, feed roller, and separation roller with alcohol or water
- Clean by-pass pickup roller, feed roller, and separation roller with alcohol or water.
- Wipe bottom plate pad with a dry cloth.
- Wipe vertical transport paper feed guide plate and relay roller with a dry cloth.
Duplex unit (A259/
A260 only)
- Wipe duplex tray bottom plate pad with a dry cloth.
- Wipe duplex tray (mylar and feeler) with a dry cloth.

Perform the following cleaning procedures every
visit:
1. Clean the paper feed pickup roller, feed roller, and
separation roller with alcohol or water.
2. Clean the by-pass pickup roller, feed roller, and
separation roller with alcohol or water.
3. Wipe the bottom plate pad with a dry cloth.
Replace paper feed separation roller and feed roller.
1. Collect used toner, then wipe the containers with
a dry cloth, or replace the used toner tank.
2. Replace the rear exhaust filter.
