The acceptable fuels of this grill/smoker are:
• Hardwood charcoal
• Briquettes
We recommend that you use briquettes, the burning
time of which is much longer than that of hardwood
charcoal. They do not need to be added to the grill/
smoker as often as hardwood charcoal. Take that in
account in particular in the case of long-term
smoking. Some of the briquettes smoke even up to
240 minutes.
Note!Do not use billets or other timbers as fuel. Their
calorific value is too high and too much heat can
damage the grill/smoker.
The damage caused by the use of billets or other
timber are not covered by the warranty.
Different ignition methods
The grill/smoker can be ignited by different methods.
• By using a firestarter.
• By using paraffin-based lighting bits.
• By using lighter fluids. Use lighter fluids based on
rapeseed oil, which does not leave side flavoursto the
products to be smoked. It can be used to ignite
hardwood charcoal.
• Using an electric lighter. It can be used to ignite
hardwood charcoal and briquettes.
WARNING: Do not use petrol or spirits for ignition or
for theincrease of the flames. Use only the ignition
means according to standard 1860-3.
All kindling materials and tools are sold separately.
