Two drive monitor parameters, U6-98 and U6-99 assist in network troubleshooting:
• U6-98: Shows the first declared fault since the last power cycle. Only cleared upon
drive power-up.
• U6-99: Shows the present option SI-EP3 status. Cleared upon a network-issued fault
reset and upon power-up.
If another fault occurs while the original fault is still active, parameter U6-98 retains the
original fault value and U6-99 stores the new fault status value.

Option Compatibility

You can connect a maximum of 3 options at the same time depending on the type of
option.
Note:
• You can only connect one option to the GA500 and HV600 drives. Connect the option to the CN5 connector.
• You can connect two options to an FP605 drive. Connect the communication option to the CN5-A connector.
• Compatible communication options are different for different models. Refer to the drive manuals for more
information.
