5 Remote I/O Communications
Word Slave Units
The following assignments are made when the node address of the Word Slave Unit is set to nn (00
to 15).
• Sixteen inputs are assigned to the following I/O ports: InDatnn_00 to InDatnn_15. The next 16
inputs are assigned to the following I/O ports: InDatnn+1_00 to InDatnn+1_15.
• Sixteen outputs are assigned to the following I/O ports: OutDatnn_00 to OutDatnn_15. The next
16 outputs are assigned to the following I/O ports: OutDatnn+1_00 to OutDatnn+1_15.
