In the leak detector, there is filter installed in the probe to protect
against particulate contamination. A clogged filter may cause a
decrease in the detection sensitivity.
1 Hold the probe facing upwards and start to unscrew the
probe tip.
2 Gently tap the male portion of the probe downwards to
remove the mesh filter.
3 The mesh filter can be back flushed with compressed air or
replaced entirely. (Order P/N G6694-60005).
4 Back flush the probe tip if necessary
5 Insert the mesh filter in position and screw the probe tip
back on.
