1.12 Conversation Features

Flash

Description
The FLASH button is used to allow a PT user to disconnect the current call and originate
another call without hanging up.
Conditions
• Flash or External Feature Access
Pressing the FLASH button on a PT results in either sending Flash signal (External Feature
Access) or disconnecting the current call (Flash). This is determined by System
Programming (See Programming Guide References below).
• Pressing the FLASH button re-starts the conversation duration, outputs an SMDR record
and checks toll restriction level again.
